Meet Steve
Experience from both sides of the test sheet.
Steve qualified as a teacher in 1997 and worked in secondary education until 2019. He later conducted nearly 6,000 practical driving tests as a DVSA Driving Examiner.
This combination shapes every TUZO lesson: clear explanations, calm standards and an examiner’s understanding of what safe, independent driving really looks like.
In 2026, Steve received Gold PDI of the Year at the Intelligent Instructor Awards. It is not the reason you should choose TUZO, but it is independent recognition of the standard he works to.
